Why don't you put yourself in my suitcase

I MISS KELLY! 

Last week I went out to Tempe, AZ to see her. I had so much fun. I always miss my sister. I flew in thursday morning at the crack of dawn. (*cough*7am*cough*) Although I'm not a morning person, getting there that early was well worth it. Full day ahead! Which consisted of day drinks at Hooters haha Always a problem because then I get extremely tired and Kelly and I napped through dinner till 9pm after we got home. Wide awake but didn't want to go out, so while everyone was out, her and I saw "Fired Up's" midnight showing haha Don't judge. It's all there was. And surprisingly, it was freaking hilarious! Then came friday night extravaganza. Sushi dinner with my faves and then out on Mill. Always a blast! Came home at 3am for a little hot tubbing, some hummus from Munchies and passing out. Epic. Saturday we went out for Jeremy's birthday to Casey Moore's.

Jeremy was right. I walked in, saw at least 3 people with dreads, a multitude of hipsters, and a mixture of other people I would totally see at a Boulder bar haha It was a good time:) Then off to Jeremy and Zach's to pass out where we ended up watching "27 dresses", discussing how a song at the end is just like one of Lilly Allens, and pass out. 

Sunday we had an Oscar's party with Christian, Jeremy, and Kel at Taylors, where everyone (*cough*Jeremy*cough) put his hair in a ponytail, sumo bun and and attempted to karate punch everyone, nearly killing me with his flying sneaker from a high kick haha

Twas fun regardless haha Then my last day in town, Kelly and I ran around by ourselves and had a photo adventure at a place I kept driving past. I loved it! GIANT wall of nicely placed railroad remnants with a pathway through the center. So we went to have a heyday, get some Hawaiian food and take me to the airport. Always so sad leaving! :(

Random question: Isn't it always awkward when the dentist asks you questions when you clearly cannot answer due to all the cleaning tools in your mouth? haha Happened today a few times when I went and I'm sure all my answers consisted of mumbles and spitting. Hot. haha

Well, off to run some errands and hopefully hangout with my Ashley's later, whom I've missed so much! :)

Hello Sunshine!

Could you have asked for a prettier day in Colorado today? You would never guess it is only February! So my ladies and I decided it was time for a picnic! Miss Lanham and I met up with Miss Mouw at her job and she ordered us yummy food to go. Then all of us drove to Boulder and threw out my giant quilt and had ourselves a lovely little picnic. YES! Nothing better than my two ladies, yummy food, sunshine and being surrounded by the mountains:)

Oh how I love my ladies. Afterwards we met up with our libster and did a little shopping. Such a wonderful day! 

And how was this last weekend? Amazing as well. I've been just absolutely happy lately. Love life. This weekend My dates were Ashley, Ashley and Breanna for Valentines day. We went out in Denver and ran into some friends:) Then saturday night consisted of movies de la past! My ashley's and I watched "Now and Then" (assigned each of us to one of the characters haha. Made it hilarious. Ashley L-"I get the fat one??" hahaha) Then we watched "My Girl" and I balled my flippin eyes out.

Ahhhhh my gosh. I forgot how good that movie is. Adorable. And the girl in there reminds me of my sis and I when we were little munchkins haha

Plans for the week:

Tomorrow: Dinner with my Ashley's and Luis! Then my friends' concert in Denver!

Wednesday: Packinggggg. Errands. 

Thursday: AZ BOUND!!!! Feb. 19-23rd. I cannot wait to see kelly<3

Not gonna lie....

Got a little teary-eyed watching an old classic called, "Casper" tonight. haha Lame? maybe. 

I don't care what anyone says, because when Casper whispers:

 "can I keep you?"

I just melt every time. It's so precious! awww! haha

Flashback to the Past

FINALLY cleaned out my car today to get it ready for me to drive it again. Fresh paint, Fresh interior. Fresh start. haha I found so much in the trunk. Pack rat I am. I found ALL of my cds. SO funny...Looking through them makes me laugh. In one of the cases I even found a cd of old pictures and videos! I need to clean more often. Such a relief seeings how my computer crashed and I lost all of my music. There is a good chunk in those cases. I found one old CD that brings back some memories. I found Unwritten Law's "Music in High Places". I can't decide if listening to this comforts me, makes me happy, or brings back unwelcome feelings. When I was in the hospital and started slowly getting better, that cd was what I listened to almost 24/7. I couldn't get enough of it. And it was the ONLY album that would help me to sleep. And even though it was so comforting to me in the hospital, it of course reminds me of the stay. And in that time I had setbacks too. I remembered listening to, "Before I Go" and "Rescue Me" on repeat when I'd get bad news in the ICU to take my mind off of what i was just told. Now I can't decide if it still does that or if it upsets me? Listening to it makes me really happy, but at the same time, kind of like I want to cry haha As silly as that sounds. I don't know why! Especially cause I never cry. Clearly it reminds me too much of that 4 month stay that I wasn't too fond of. But at the same time, makes me feel good cause that was a time when I started to increasingly get better. Weird how music can have such an emotional impact; even after all these years.

So updaters:

Had an awesome weekend! Lots of Boulder lovin. Long overdue. Thursday and Friday I worked in boulder and afterwards hungout and got the best chinese food "family" dinner deal with Sean and James lol. Food for DAYS! Then friday I worked and went out in Boulder immediately after with Sean and James and my two Ash's: Lash and Mash. Nicknames to avoid confusion. We had some fun at the downer. Sean had the best cardigan ever. Lots of drinks. Fun. Ran into some old boulderite friends! Good to see Melanie and Marina, Taylor and Travis and Nat. Boulder never fails haha 

After the Downer we went to Foundry and danced for the rest of the night. Had a sleepover with my loves:)

Then Saturday night I hungout with my Courtney! She's leaving for Europe tomorrow. I'm gonna miss the crap outta her. She'll be gone about a month. I'm so excited for her though. We had a light night but it was so nice. We had a photosesh and walked around Denver. Then we both got pretty chilly and went to Paris and had some hot cocoa, almond milk and chocolate cake. SO legit haha Finally tonight we all went to eat at Watercourse tonight for dinner so I could say bye to Miss Swan! Safe Travels Lovah!

Now, I'm getting ready for bed. Debating what to do with my hair. Color-wise. Ideas? Hit me with em. I need a change.

Shady

Being trustworthy these days seems to be an added bonus to a relationship, friendship, or anything these days, rather than something that should be embedded in someone's character from the start. Quite a shame. In the last hour I heard of two of my family members get completely taken advantage of. My dad rents out a house and the the renters completely peaced out still owing him a lot of money. When he, time and time again gave them breaks when they were late. They even stole the toilet seat cover haha Who does that? haha Aren't those like $5? But these people shut off their phone, changed the number and completely left the house this week. ugh. They suck. And then I won't even get into my sisters story. Just that, her ex roommate has some mad karma coming her way. Maybe karma via the fist of Kari. haha I don't like violence, but she's on my list to pummel. Even if I just pummel her with hurtful words haha It takes a lot to make me mad, but when you mess with my family, I will come after you. Fo Realzzzzz punks. lol. It's just beyond me that people have it in them to take advantage of the nicest people I know in the world. The NICEST. Just crazy....

So on another note...if anyone wants to rent a REALLY nice 3 bdr. house in Brighton for pretty cheap, holla atcha girl and I'll tell Papa Geha:)

Things Always Work Out for a Reason

And I'm realizing that. Love it! I mean, yeah...I'll be bummed for a hot second if something I really wanted didn't work out, but literally EVERYTIME something comes up to show me that it was for the best. Oh life:)

Well, I had a pretty darn tootin good weekend. Yeah, DARNNNNN tootin. Im assuming that means really great. Friday I went to Lipgloss (which I had gotten sick of but lately has been fun again) and just danced my face off with My ashley's and Sean and James. It's the best hanging out with these kids. Then Saturday I went to a Mammoth game with Ashley (aka Dragon, or Ashley POW! lol) to see her friend dance and enjoy a pretty legit lacrosse game. Need to go to more of those! It was a blast! Then afterwards we picked up our other ashley (aka Argentina) and drove to Boulder to go out with James and Sean again. I haven't been out in boulder in almost TWO years! So it was a nice change of pace and I had a blast. Then Ashley POW and I cuddled at my house haha Slumber party! And I awoke to my car getting painted. eep. Batmobile is almost back in action. I'm so excited.

It was fun! I have another shoot on wednesday that should be interesting. It's in an awesome studio which I plan to borrow some time in to do other peoples photos. Lighting and everything is included! Love it. But yeah, should be fun. I don't know why people take these photoshoot things so seriously. It makes me giggle. I just have fun with them. It's not like I'll ever do it as a job. I just like playing dress up. I'd much rather be on the other side of the camera lol

So who wants shoots done? I want to do more photoshopping fun and I have ideas flowing out of my head. Let's do this!

Well, Time for me to go read/finish Twilight. *sigh* It's like the end of an era haha jk But is it nerdy of me to be sad it's almost over? Yeah, it is. I'll answer that for you bahaha Goodnight<3
